We are just a few weeks out on this section about Ohio History. We will feature posts and essays on the history of the Buckeye State.
As the 17th state in the Union and the mother to seven United States Presidents, Ohio has numerous and unique contributions to the history of this country.
Follow along with us as we explore our state across the last few hundred years. We will look at Ohio and it’s people and tell the stories of some famous Ohioans.
We will re-examine well known stories and delve into others that are not so well known. Additionally, we’ll discover the places and ways that Ohio still honors the past through memorials, education and entertainment.
