We were looking for something fun for our dog and found Prairie Oaks doggie beach, part of the Columbus Metro Parks system. The water is clear, the bottom is gravel (not mud) and there’s a great dock for your dock-diving dog!

Ash Cave provides a handicapped accessible hike in Ohio. The short route and wide, paved trail will allow everyone to see the cave.
Hiking the Hocking Hills with dogs is a great way to explore the park. You’ll need to make sure you’re prepared. Bring plenty of water and towels and read up on the rules ahead of time. But your pup will enjoy hiking as much as you do!

Join us on a hike through Central Ohio’s Highbanks Metro Parks. We hiked one of the parks pet friendly trails with our dog Pumpkin. We also discovered Brood X cicadas were all over the park.
