The National Museum of the Air Force is Ohio’s Free Museum. There are more than 20 acres of exhibits and you can tour the complex for free!
While most of our travels take advantage of all that Ohio has to offer, sometimes we just have to run away. Our recent travels took us to Las Vegas. We stayed at the Flamingo, enjoyed the Strip, gambled a little, ate a lot and ventured out into the desert to see the Valley of Fire State Park.

October is the perfect time for a visit to Witch City, Salem, Massachusetts. It’s a carnival atmosphere with all sorts of foods and vendors in addition to historical offerings from the 1692 witch trials.
We decided to give cruising a second go, this time cruising on Carnival Sunshine. Though it will never be my favorite way to travel, it’s a great opportunity to visit new ports. And it’s also nice to spend a week with no cooking or cleaning or decision making!
